The Spread of COVID-19
COVID-19 has an incredibly fast reproduction rate with droplets from coughing, sneezing and saliva droplets from human mouths spreading onto anything the droplets have contact with.
When a person with COVID-19 coughs, sneezes or talks, they may spread droplets containing the virus a short distance and these droplets quickly settle on surrounding surfaces.
Research has found that the new coronavirus can last up to 72 hours on plastic and stainless steel surfaces, on cardboard for 24 hours.

Fogging is the work of a specialist contractor using specialised products and cleaning methods. Fogging uses an antiviral disinfectant solution (to BS EN 14476 standard) which cleans and sanitises large areas of a building quickly and effectively. It can kill off the virus and other biological agents in the air and on surfaces. The task involves spraying a fine mist from a spray gun which is left to evaporate, usually for 6 hours.

What is my Legal Responsibility?
Employers have a legal duty under the Health and Safety at work act 1974 to provide a safe working environment under regulation 2 (1).
Providing a safe working environment extends beyond the environment alone and needs to consider other areas such as the use of biological agents.
The Health and Safety at Work 1974 also places a legal duty on employers to protect employees from harm in their place of work and also to consider what can enter a place of work in terms of emissions into the atmosphere, such as a virus which is often unseen.

The VS-500 ULV works by expelling a fine, almost invisible mist into the atmosphere which eventually settles onto all surfaces including those impossible to reach by conventional methods.
Cleaning Solutions and Environmental Credentials
We use ViroSmart Virosol Disinfectant Concentrate – this is a chosen cleaner used by hospitals, veterinary surgeons, animal sanctuaries and other high sensitive areas.
ViroSmart Virasol is fully tested, entirely non-toxic, PH of 7.6, water-based, biodegradable and kind to the environment.
This product is safe to use on all surfaces as it is entirely non-staining, non-tainting and non irritant.
Killing 99.9% of Coronavirus particles, while some particles are smaller than 0.3 microns and might escape the fog, thus regular fogging is recommended.
Virasol does not contain harmful phenols, aldehydes or alcohol.
Recommended regular fogging to help prevent cross-infection of viruses such as MRSA, COVID-19 Coronavirus and many more. At a recommended dilution of 1:50 dilution to ensure maximum effectiveness and a surface time of 5 minutes.
